The National Lok Adalat held at the Civil Court premises in Buxar on March 14, 2026, marked a major step toward speedy justice as hundreds of disputes were resolved through mutual settlement. Lok Adalats are organized under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, with the goal of providing quick and affordable justice by encouraging disputing parties to reach amicable settlements. In Buxar, several categories of disputes were addressed during the Lok Adalat session. These included bank loan recovery cases, traffic challans, electricity bill disputes, matrimonial cases, and other civil matters. The event was successfully organized under the leadership of the district judge. The program was inaugurated by District & Sessions Judge Kajal Jhamb, with the presence of Family Court Principal Judge Manoj Kumar, District Magistrate Sahila, and Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya.
